RPAK - Routing Protocol Attack Kit

Download v1.0 (for Windows 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista)

Introduction

RPAK is a collection of tools that can be useful for doing attacks on routing protocols. It contains tools for RIP, RIP2, IGRP and OSPF.

Usage instructions

Download the zip file and extract it. The tools will give you instructions when you run them, and complementing information can be found in the Q&A.

Q&A

Q: What is the format of the RIP routing table file?

A: You can find an example here.

Q: What is the format of the RIP2 routing table file?

A: You can find an example here.

Q: What is the format of the IGRP routing table file?

A: You can find an example here.

Q: I don't understand what values to put in the routing table files, can you help me?

A: Sorry, but no. You simply have to learn the routing protocols - then you will know what to put in the files.

Q: Why haven't you created spoofing tools for OSPF and EIGRP?

A: Because I don't have enough routers to be able to test those two tools enough if I code them.

Q: When I double-click on the file a window comes up and disappears immediately. What's wrong?

A: You must run the file from a Command Prompt.

Q: I have a question that is not covered here. Where can I get help?

A: Send me your question. I can't promise that I will have time to answer, but I'll do my best.
