DBProbe checks the directed broadcast ping amplification factor for a network.
Download the exe file and run it from the Command Prompt. It will give you the instructions you need.

A: IOS 12.0 and higher blocks them by default, otherwise you have to change the configuration for each interface to "no ip directed-broadcast".
